How It Works
Tell us what you need moved
Send us a message or WhatsApp with a description of your items, collection and delivery addresses, and access details — floor number, lift availability, street width. For the Gothic Quarter or El Raval, mention this upfront as we plan access differently for those streets.
Get your fixed-price quote
We confirm the price, van size, and availability, usually within the hour. For old town addresses (Barri Gòtic, El Raval, El Born, Barceloneta), we factor in the early-morning access window and plan accordingly. No obligation, no hidden fees.
We arrive and load up
Our driver arrives at your door with the right van. For Eixample buildings with tiny original lifts (60cm wide), we bring stair-climbing equipment as standard. Items are loaded with blankets and straps to protect against damage.
Delivered and unloaded
We transport your belongings to the destination and unload them exactly where you need them. Job done — with a receipt confirming full delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your vans access the Gothic Quarter and El Raval?
Yes, but with planning. The Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), El Raval, El Born, and La Barceloneta have medieval streets too narrow for a standard Sprinter or Luton van. We use an LWB or small Transit in these areas, and the loading must happen during the early-morning window (7–8am) before pedestrian restrictions kick in. Always mention if your address is in the old town when you enquire — we plan the approach in advance.
How quickly can you send a man and van in Barcelona?
Most local Barcelona jobs can be booked for the same day or next day. Contact us before midday and there's a good chance we can arrange an afternoon slot. For old town addresses requiring early-morning access, we need at least 24 hours notice to coordinate the logistics. Weekend availability fills up faster — booking a day ahead is wise for Saturday and Sunday jobs. For urgent same-day requests, call us directly on 020 3318 4720.
What happens if my Eixample building has a tiny lift?
This is the most common access challenge in Barcelona. Many modernista Eixample buildings have original lift cages only 60cm wide — far too small for a wardrobe, large sofa, or appliance. We handle this regularly and always ask about floor number and lift dimensions when quoting. For no-lift or small-lift buildings, we bring stair-climbing equipment and factor the extra time into the price. There are no surprise surcharges on the day.
Do I need to help with loading and unloading?
No. Our driver handles all loading and unloading as standard. If you'd prefer to load yourself to reduce costs, we offer a self-loading rate. Just specify this when booking. Most expat customers prefer the full-service option so they can focus on other parts of their move.
What areas in Barcelona do you cover?
We cover all of Barcelona city — Eixample, Gràcia, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Les Corts, Sants-Montjuïc, Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris, Sant Andreu, Sant Martí, Poblenou, Ciutat Vella — plus the surrounding metropolitan area including Badalona, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Sant Cugat del Vallès. Long-distance moves to Madrid, Valencia, and anywhere in Spain are also available.
